Credit Specialist (Pune)

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Approve and release orders from credit hold while making sure accounts are within payment terms.
  • Research payment disputes and coordinate with appropriate HON departments to ensure proper payment.
  • Take calls from customer looking for invoices, information, and disputes on amounts.
  • Take credit card payments for government agencies.
  • Work closely with customer service to provide proof of deliveries, monitor credit memos, and ensure customer satisfaction for payment.
  • Closely work with credit analysts and manager to implement key strategies and process improvements

  Work Experience and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce & MBA Finance
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Oracle experience preferred
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including proficiency in financial statement analysis and modeling
  • Understanding of accounting concepts: cash flow analysis, accounting analytics, debits/credits, etc.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

  Competencies:
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with changing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills required
  • Analyzing financial data and telling the story behind the numbers
  • Communicating, both written and verbal, with all levels of the organization
  • Strong critical thinking and business acumen skill
